    When one applies for AP in Multiple entry category they will be given 2 AP dox. lets say if one has used both on travelling like both has stamp of POE can they reuse the same for future travel with in the one year period of validity ?

    Hello everyone,
    I had filed for my I485 on 19th July at Nebraska. My 90 days are getting over on 19th Oct. Still I have not received any receipts for I-485,EAD,I-131.
    My lawyer is going to call USCIS to inquire about my case.
    Does any one had experience calling USCIS after 90 days were over and the USCIS tracked your application and you got your receipts.
    Would be great if any one can share there experiences.

    Hi All,

    My Green card Priority date is April 2004 under EB3 category.
    I-140 was approved 1yr back and I-485 applied in August 2007.

    Where to check the current processing dates and when will we receive Green card?

    Any idea still howmuch time will it take to get GC for the people with above PD date?

    Do i need to check the URL https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp?

    My uncle just received his L1 extension receipt. Lawyer was late in filing the L1 extension, but supposedly got everything ready and mailed it 2 days before the L1 expiration date.

    However, my uncle received recepit for L1 extension, and received date is 2 weeks after the expiration of original L1. Please note I am talking about RECEIVED DATE (not Notice date or receipt date).

    Does this mean extension will automatically get rejected based on late filing? Is there any recourse to this?

    More importantly, Is my uncle Out of Status now? (He doesn't have anything else going besides L1)

    Please let me know as soon as possible.

    Hi,

    I have my labor certiifcation approved and currently filed for I-140.
    I-140 is not approved yet.
    I have an offer from another employer with very similar job profile.
    My 6 yrs of H1 is getting over in 2010 summer.
    My prioriy date is Dec/07.

    What are my options
    1) Can i change a job and keep same priority date(as job profile is very similar)
    2) Do I have to start from zero again?If yes,how much time I have to get priority date assigned again(considering my H1 bgets over in 2010 summer?)

    You can extend status while living at US, but for re-entry after international travel (after November 26, 2009) you must get the visa stamped on your passport.

    I have filed an appeal for a rejected I 140, which is I 290B.
    I also filed a new I 140 using the same labor (EB3, august 2003)

    Now I am seeing constant changes to LUDs to both status online, but the text doesnt change.
    I 290B had LUD change for 3 days, and I 140 had LUD change for 3 days too.
    I am confused now... does this mean they are working on the case?
    constant changes like these furstrate me when there is no message or text change in status.
    Can the gurus here predict according to similar trends? what can I expect?

    My I-94 extension (for L1B visa) was denied on Oct '08 and I returned in 4 days after they updated Denial status. Reason for denail is "lack of specialized knowledge". I am planning to apply for L1B again in next month (By showing additional certification). Can you please advice me

    - is it fine to apply for visa again as it will be more then 6 months after it was denied

    - Do I need to show the copy of denial notice during visa interview? Is there any thread available providing suggestions for those applying for visa again after it was denied earlier...

    Is it having any advantage towards applying I-485 if getting married in US (H1B and other is on F1).

    Has no advantage where you get married.

    My wife did not have SSN when her FP was done. I would not suggest writing ITIN either.
    But must write the A# from FP notice onto the form.

    I'm Australian and would like to return to the U.S. to visit in-laws with my partner but I overstayed my visa on my last visit.

    On my last visit, I received a 6-month visitor visa then extended my visa another 6 months. I overstayed my visa by 11 weeks; I was helping my same-sex partner move. This was two years ago. I did not work for anyone while in the States.

    What can I do if any to improve my chances of not getting turned away at Immigration?

    Hello,

    I am in the process of gathering my documents for EB1 filling. My lawyer and I went through my publication list today.

    I have a number of peer reviewed publications that have been accepted and available online (with DOI - Digital Identification Identifiers) but have not yet made it to paper copies.

    My lawyer is hesitant to include these "Online First" articles since they are not technically out He claimed that immigration tends to lean towards traditional publication channels and therefore it would be preferable to since technically, they are still in press.

    Is this accurate? Under what conditions can one include accepted (online first) publications?

    My I-485 receipt from USCIS does have my priority date listed. In fact, they even say on the receipt that the priority date listed might not reflect the oldest priority date that you might be eligible for.

    i did send the fax. Was reading news and thought i should make a post.
    if you have sent the fax, pls start making phone calls. there are several lawmakers to call
