Now that all are current, and we know the many benefits of an EAD ( primary being spousal employment) what exactly are the no-nos to apply for 485?
1. Even if you want to change jobs after 6 months, you gotta stick to the same position in the new company?
2. Any restrictions on travel?
3. Yearly EAD renewal can be a headache?
Any more?
P.S: Guys, I am as elated as any of you but just wanted some perspective before pushing my employer.

Hi All,
I have got an RFE for my I-485 application. . I missed to complete a question (part3 and question #10) in I-485 form for which I got a request for evidence letter from USCIS. Can anyone has any template on how i should reply. Your help is much appreciated . Thanks in advance

Question # 10: Are you under a final order of Civil Penalty for violating section 274C of the immigration and Nationality Act for use of
fraudulent documents or by fraud or willful misrepresentation of a material fact, ever sought to procure, or procured, a visa, other documentation, entry into the United States or any immigration benefit.
Therefor submit an affidavit with your answer to this question a 'Yes' or 'No' response.

USCIS does not give a damn they are a govt agency that sift through paper very slowly every day. What makes you think they have a conscience and they will suddenly feel bad for you?

Wife need to go to India for emergency. Advance Parole expired. Can she already leave while I apply AP now ? Or does she have to be in country until we get it ? Can i apply now and send it to her once i get it here ?

Hello All,
I'm in a big fix now, need immediate suggestion and help.
I have a valid H1B petition filed from SC, now I had moved to FL and started working on a prj. I have planned for my trip to india early june and then I came to know from my lawyer that I need to have a new LCA and H1B amendment before traveling to india and appearing for visa interview.
They had already filed for my new LCA which I have got and they had applied for my H1B premium amendment also but I haven't got the new petition yet.
I have applied for the visa interview by filling all the DS-160 forms for my family based on old petition number.
Can I can still go ahead with the interview and carry the new amended petition in my hand OR should I cancel the existing interview and once again fill the new DS-160 forms and take the new interview date ?
Please let me know on this....
