Unfortunately, ChangePropertyAction today doesn't allow you access attached properties. I'll add that as something we consider fixing in a future release :)

It's too late. BEC already cleared 80% of the cases by now. Only 40000 cases left in BEC as per Oh.

Given the Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad�s immigration history, the common refrain of �let�s just close our borders to all immigrants� is (not surprisingly) becoming more vocal. Hi,
I believe someone already asked a similar question but I just want to describe my exact situation:
- My LC (EB3) got approved on July 2007, PD is March 2007 - Company A
- My I-140 and I-485 were filed concurrently on July 2007 - Company A
- I work as a contractor and my client (Company B) is offering me a full-time job and would like me to join on Sept 2007
- I still have 4 years on my H1B
With the assumption that my current employer (Company A) will give full cooperation on my current GC process, if I join company B on H1B transfer now, can I possibly invoke AC21 later after my I-140 gets approved and I-485 is pending for more than 180 days?
I'll greatly appreciate any comments.

All,
I wonder if more of you have noticed this phenomena: one of your applications gets approved, but the approval doesn't show up on the online case status system.
My AP was approved on Sept 17, 2007 and mailed out to my attorney who got it in a few days and told me about yesterday when I emailed about another issue. Oddly enough, even today (Sept 27), the online case status system shows an LUD of Sept 14 but no approval. I didn't get the usual approval email from the case status system either.
Annoying -- since now I won't learn of new developments till my lawyer calls me up to let me know and you know what slackers they can be. Although all this may be moot since apparently I am stuck waiting for my name check to clear, so there won't be any new developments to look look forward to for a long long time. Sigh. :(

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. My wife currently is on an H1-B visa and she also has EAD/AP based on my I-485 filing. Due to personal reasons she plans to quit her job soon (next 2-3 weeks or so). What will be her status? Should we be filing COS to H-4? Can we get a RFE for proof of her employment when I-485 is processed?

Another more circuitous method if you want to make the entire object transparent is to import the movie into a movie clip inside Flash. You can use Flash's Alpha slider to adjust the alpha of the movie clip and adjust the quality that way.
