I believe so. I assume that USCIS eventually sends a letter acknowledging the revocation, but I don't know for sure.
Even my attorney says the same thing that they do not represent any revocations and says that there will be an acknowledgment from USCIS regarding revocation.
I have requested my old employer to provide me the I-140 revocation acknowledgment, but he denies saying he did not receive it and USCIS does not always send acknowledgments. That is his ball game, I could not poke around much.

am waiting for a GC here in America, I always think India is a fabulous
country. There are merits, de merits in every country. But it is people like you who always look at the negative side (according to you that is ) of India and think US has absolutely no negatives that create the wrong perception about India in peoples minds.
Your negativity stems from your low self esteem and lack of self confidence.

2.God forbid,if you ever get into an accident the cop would at least write down a complaint.If there is an emergency there would be an ambulance.My father had to go through this unfortunate experience.
3.In India, given the real estate boom , anyone who has land in cities like Mumbai /Pune would rather build a mall or residential complex instead of Schools/Colleges.People are getting jobs now. Have they wondered where their kids will go to school/college? When it comes to getting jobs in India, everyone wants a candidate from a reputed college / university which is usually associated with the number of years the place has been around.
4.If you want to settle outside cities, then you do not have access to the best in education and whatever so called infrastructure is there to offer.
5.Back home, if your kid does not grow up to become a Doctor or Engineer he/she goes so much down in the social hierarchy that it is difficult to imagine.Only careers available are Doctors/Engineers.Last option is to join call center and live a nocturnal life.

Called them 3 times and everytime the same answer "pending and processing."
Unfortunately my uncle passed away yesteray and I have to travel for the funeral processings. Called USCIS just now and told them to expedite the case. CSR took all the information and told that someone will contact me within 5 business days about case. Hoepfully someone calls/emails and approves my case.
Just wanted to share my experience.

We can request participation from other ethnic organizations, but that would be minimal unless they are victims of July VB bulletin.
If the cause was overall legal immigration, certainly we can request/demand such participation.

First of all why do U wanna ask that? Its an employment based visa that ur GC is based on. So, ur employer shud ask that. Why are u asking IVans to do something which is not in their control??? So if the pattern of last 2 years also holds this year, there will be slow month or 2 month movement until the last quarter (july/aug/sept) and then boom-bada-boom massive movement of maybe a couple of years. In that last quarter its all hit or miss, some 20-30% of people who get current will get GC (like what happened last year) then again back to 1 year of creep and crawl... hopefully by then we get some form of immigration legislation to clear this backlog.

If they would not have approved 25k cases in 2 days still they could change the cut off date instead of making unavailable. In any case accepting 500k to 700k applications when Visa number not available might create more problems for USCIS than current mess. I think USCIS well aware of potential lawsuit as they got opposition for similar thing for EB3 other workers in June. There is no strong motive for Scandals as no one gets Finanicial benefit in USCIS or DOS. It needs to be seen how Courts will handle Adminstrative mess up. It is highly unlikely for courts to order USCIS to accept I485 even if they find violation of law. But if court considers the lawsuit it will be used to fix some of the issues in VB regulations

s not a policy bill, it's a bill about tweaking the existing policy. Giving everyone a priority date based on his/her date of the arrival to the states is to admit that H1b visa is an immigrant visa, which is not. Don't push an envelope too hard, it might backfire in the most unusual way.

The people America would really be concerned about are outstanding researchers, but then these people fall in the EB1 category which is always current and so they have no cause for complaint. The other category that the US is concerned about is cheap and illegal labor, but that is not related to GCs. So in short, there is nothing about the Eb2/Eb3 GC backlog that America needs to worry about.
The delay causes anxiety & frustration only for us applicants. So the impact is only on us.

3> Applied in EB2 when their job requirements wasn't really EB2.
4> Made up five years of experience so as to apply for EB2.
5> Packaged NIIT diploma et al as masters..
Then there are others Who applied in EB2 because they had a masters or genuine experience AND their job demanded EB2. Also people, irrespective of their categories, toiled at BECs.
I would be a bit skeptical about folks that filed EB2 thru a body-shopper or a consulting company. It doesnt mean that EB3s are holier-than-thou and hasnt resorted to fraud.
My point is, the whole system is biased against people who follow the rules.
Unless you play the system ( using the points mentioned above), you have to wait and wait and wait..
At this point, its hard to find out who belonged to the former category and who belonged to the later. Do you think people would come forward and accept?
